Signage
- Signage is a required and critical part of an Area of Refuge or Two-Way Emergency Communication System.
- Clear and communicative signage allows a person inside a building to take quick and deliberate actions.
- We offer a wide range of code compliant signage.
Instructional Signage
Each AOR Call Station is required to have a sign providing instructions for the use of the system and written identification, including in braille, of the location.
Door Signage
A sign with raised lettering and braille is required next to each door or entryway providing access to an Area of Refuge.
Illuminated Signage
Area of Refuge signage shall be illuminated where exit sign illumination is required.
Directional Signage
Directional signage is required:
- At exits serving a required accessible space but not providing an approved accessible means of egress
- At elevator landings
- Within areas of refuge
